↑ real-life inner monologue about my excitement and anxiety for 2025. 2025 sounds ultra-futuristic, chic, and a little dangerous (if ya know what I mean).

Nonetheless, the new year is my fav <3

It's when we’re all eager to create new energy. That collective power is the perfect time to call in future blessings!

To honor the meeting between myself and Ms. 2025, I decided to do a 21-day fast with my church back home in Maryland. (check it out here!)

No meat, sugar, gluten, or dairy and chileeeee, lemme tell youuuuuu! The portals to the spiritual world are WIDE OPEN.

I’m praying and fasting over a next-level relationship with God and financial breakthrough. Every Sunday evening my best friend, sister, and I check in about the blessings we're praying over for 2025. And the downloads...

are downloooooooooooading babe.

My little ole human brain was linearly thinking about making these breakthroughs happen. "I want money, so let me take a look at my finances each week. See how I’m navigating savings, spending, budgeting, etc.” But as I was doing that, something felt… well… basic.

Then during my recent check-in with my best friend and sister, God said “There’s another way in”.

Let's take a deeper dive:

  1. When we’re working towards something, we tend to look at the “obvious way in”, but what if we choose a different route? For example, many spiritual practices speak on how love and money are connected. If I’m struggling to create breakthrough in my finances, what ways have I struggled in the past to break through in romantic relationships? There’s usually a pattern that’s mirroring itself in both areas of our lives.

  2. The shift we need for breakthrough is a small nuance. In the case of financial breakthrough, it won’t be the “quit your job” or “change careers”. It will be more like creating a new experience when I spend money on small things like dinner and drinks. Is it anxiety-inducing for me? Do I need to do it with certain people only?

  3. And the best for last - Undeniable belief and commitment. We can do all the spiritual callings and rituals. But without undeniable belief and commitment, there will be no breakthrough. It's as easy as replacing thoughts of doubt with thoughts of "I believe x, y, and z will come to pass."

Next time you need breakthrough, I want you to ask yourself “How can I achieve this ‘outside of the box’?” This is waaaaaaay easier said than done, but worth a shot. (Especially if nothing else has worked in the past.)

And remember: everything we put our mind to creates something.
